In March 2020, Makers switched to fully remote delivery, enabling us to open up the course to students around the world. As part of this change we changed our job offer guarantee to a job offer support program as we realised it would be unfair to make any guarantees during this uncertain time. Instead, we’ve reviewed and increased the job support we offer so we can still support you in finding a role you love.
Our Partnerships team is absolutely dedicated to finding you a job after the end of the course. Our hiring network includes more than 250 of London’s top technology companies (including but not limited to Deliveroo, British Gas, Starling Bank, Financial Times, Compare The Market.com, and Tesco). They bring these organisations into Makers to share the jobs they have on offer and why you should work with them.
Our careers coaches also run workshops and 1-2-1 support to train you in job hunting skills, how to polish your CV and what to expect in a technical interview.
We only accept carefully chosen applicants as this is a rigorous program.While we’re highly selective, what we focus on is your passion for becoming a developer: there’s no better way to do this than by gauging how much you’ve learnt to code on your own already.
Once you’ve joined Makers, we unapologetically have a huge emphasis on holistic learning. Yoga and meditation and developing your own emotional intelligence and awareness are a crucial part of the Makers experience.
