What happens?

• Welcome from today’s coach. What we’ll learn today
• Introductions. Meet the group and find out what you want to achieve
• Demonstration of a coding concept in action
• Split into pairs and work on a challenge. Our coach will be on hand for advice
• Regroup. What you learned, feedback and tips on your code.

Who is it for?

If you’ve tried a bit of coding on your own, this is the right workshop for you. To get the most out of the session, you must have worked on a codecademy language track, preferably Ruby and solved a couple of 8th Kyu katas on codewars. If you’re a total beginner you might struggle. If this is the case, no problem! Register for our Learn Coding event instead.

How does it work?

This is an online event. After you register for the event you’ll receive an email with a link to join our Learn Coding Slack Group.

On the day, the coach will send you a link on Slack to join the session via zoom.
