What is Code Accelerator?

Led by the Makers Technical Coaching team you’ll have the chance to program with like-minded budding coders and receive personalised feedback on your skills. Plus, find out how codebar can help you start your tech journey in their fun, free coding community.

What happens?

• Welcome from today’s coach. What we’ll learn today
• Introductions. Meet the group and find out what you want to achieve
• Demonstration of a coding concept in action
• Split into pairs and work on a challenge. Our coach will be on hand for advice
• Regroup. What you learned, feedback and tips on your code.

Who is it for?

• To get the most out of the session, you must have worked on a codecademy language track, preferably Ruby.
• Solved a couple of 8th Kyu katas on codewars.

How does it work?

• After you register for the event you’ll receive an email with a link to join our Learn Coding Slack Group.
• On the day, the coach will send you a link on Slack to join the session via zoom.
