Q&A Event: Free Tech skills bootcamp in software engineering

7 February 2022

Learn if you’re eligible for a free place on our Tech skills bootcamp, fully funded by the Department for Education.

Two women coding together at a computer.

As part of the Government’s Lifetime Skills Guarantee and Plan for Jobs, our Tech skills bootcamp offers you the opportunity to gain new software engineering skills and fast track your way to a new career for FREE!

Tech should be an accessible career for all and the industry should represent the diverse community it serves, therefore we’re offering the skills bootcamp route to allow those who are less able to fund the paid route, a pathway onto the course. You’ll learn the exact same curriculum as the Makers bootcamp course and receive the same job hunting and holistic support. Full information about eligibility criteria will be shared at the event, to help you make an informed decision about if this is the right path for you.

We’ll also share:

  • What you’ll learn on the Makers bootcamp
  • How we help you to find a job
  • Job outcomes and salaries of recent Makers graduates

We will be running three, 16 week full-time Tech skills bootcamps across 2022 with fully remote and hybrid options, where students spend half their time learning remotely and half their time learning onsite at our London HQ .
